Reservation Policies

Making a Reservation

Reservations can be made through the website's reservation form or by contacting us directly. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time, especially for weekend evenings and private card lounge gatherings.

  • Reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
  • For parties larger than six guests, please contact us directly to arrange a private dining or card lounge experience.
  • We may require a deposit for certain reservations, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellation and No-Show

We understand that plans may change. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or modify your reservation. This allows us to offer the table to other guests and adjust our team's preparation.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a fee, as specified at the time of booking. No-shows may result in the forfeiture of any deposit and may affect future reservation privileges.

For private events, separate cancellation terms will be provided in the event agreement. Please review those terms carefully when confirming your booking.

Conduct and Dress Code

Sorteeouro is a refined establishment. We expect all guests to behave respectfully towards staff and other patrons, preserving the elegant atmosphere that defines our venue.

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in refusal of service or removal from the premises.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who appears intoxicated or under the influence of substances.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside the venue, in accordance with Australian law.

Dress Code

To maintain the elegant Art Deco atmosphere, we kindly request that guests adhere to a smart casual dress code. This helps create the sophisticated environment our patrons expect.

Smart casual attire includes collared shirts, dresses, and elegant footwear. Sportswear, beachwear, and flip-flops are not permitted.

For card lounge evenings, we encourage a more formal dress code, such as cocktail attire, to complement the exclusive setting.

No Gambling Disclaimer

Sorteeouro is a restaurant and physical card lounge that offers offline poker experiences for social and entertainment purposes only. No gambling, wagering, or betting of any kind takes place on the premises.

Poker chips are used solely as physical table accessories to facilitate gameplay and do not represent any monetary value. No prizes, payouts, or financial rewards are offered in connection with any card games.

Our card lounge is designed to provide a sophisticated environment for enjoying the game of poker in a social setting, surrounded by fine dining and elegant conversation.

Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
